Message in a Cupcake!

One of my dearest friend -- Peiying, got married over the weekend. I was one of her sisters involved in the gatecrash.
I made 10 chocolate cupcakes:
- 2 with lime (酸)
- 2 with loads of chocolate chips (甜)
- 2 with bittergourd (苦)
- 2 with wasabi (辣)
- 2 normal chocolate flavoured
These were to be fed to Joseph (Peiying's husband) and his brothers. Apparantly, they didn't taste the weird flavours. I think 'cause the chocolate flavour was too overwhelming. What a waste!! Nonetheless, I stuffed 3 cupcakes with a slip of paper (see picture above) each with a question written on them. Of course the guys didn't know about this 'cause the "holes" were well-concealed with icing! One guy thought he ate the paper 'cause by the time they realised there were something in the cupcakes, he had already finished his! haha.. funny.. but don't think the videographer managed to film that.. :)
Congratulations to Joseph & Peiying once again! Your marriage is like a fairy-tale come true :) *hugz*

Digestive Cheese Pear Jelly

Digestive Biscuits + Philly Cheese + Pear in Syrup + Agar Agar
That's the layers that make up what you see in the picture! Wanted to buy those Peaches in syrup but by accident, I bought Pear in Syrup :( Both fruits start with the letters "P", "E" and "A" mah.. so I see wrongly and but the wrong one.. :( Definitely prefer peaches to pears.. Shall open my eyes bigger the next time!
Smiley Chocolate Muffins
Walnut Cake
Walnut Cake Batter just before it hits the oven:

After baking:

Looks quite different from the previous Walnut Cake ya? Both uses the same recipe, except this time round, I used my mixer to combine the 2 parts of the cake mixture. Previously, I used my hand. As you can see, this time round, the mixture is more even. Taste was same, but texture is different. The hand-mixed one is more fluffy and slightly lumpier.
