Nutella Roll

My sis recently bought this for us to try. It's like a 9" swiss roll filled generously with nutella. If you love nutella, you'll like this. What you see is what you get.. it's a thin layer of sponge cake wrapped with nutella.. and the person just only used cling wrap to hold the thing together.. It costs 6 bucks a roll. hmm..

Have tried using them a couple of times.. First time, it came out nice but I didn't have my camera with me.. Second time, it didn't quite look like what it's supposed to look like so I didn't take a picture of it.. hehe..

Chocolate Cookies

I love to bake these 'cause they're just so easy to do!

This is one of the rare time I use a cookie cutter. I got pretty lazy after imprinting the dolphin, playboy and star shapes so I ended up rolling the rest of the dough into balls. The one with "holes" have a couple of raisins in them.

I realise that those with raisins have a more chewy texture than the rest. Not sure why though..

My First Cake...

Some years back, my mum's friend gave her the recipe for making Banana Cake.

Some how or other, I ended up being the one who tried out the recipe...

The result was good! Moist and flavourful. No artificial flavouring was used. The bananas had to be ripe.. probably best if it's a little over-ripe so it'll be sweet and yummy. My dad loves it. It has been quite some time since I last baked it though. Should try this out again :)
