Mango Yoghurt Cheesecake
Found the recipe in the December 2008 issue of Lifestyle magazine.. I tried to get fresh mangoes but Giant didn't have any, so I left it out..
Personally, I don't eat cheesecake.. I never like the taste of it.. too rich and overwhelming.. so i guess the rest will have to finish it!!! :P
CNY Day 2
My dad's side will gather at my house for the second day of Chinese New Year...
Usually, my mum cooks mee siam and some finger food for this occasion but this year, she decided to cook rice and other dishes instead... here's what we had:
Appetiser
French beans with mixed nuts and those tiny oranges commonly found during CNY (sorry i don't know what's the proper name for it.. :P)
Done by yours truly.. receipe from Miss Wong (a.k.a. Peiying)
Main Course
From bottom left (clockwise), century eggs, ngor hiam (made by my mum), fried chicken wings.
In the middle, we have satay chicken sausages.
Prawns stir fry with garlic and black pepper (by Chef mum)
Fish in some chilli kinda sauce (by Chef mum)
Chicken in black sauce (by Chef mum)
Chap Chai - or at least that's what i think it is... (by Chef mum)
Radish soup (by Chef mum)

That's about it really.. as you can see, i made the foolproof dishes :P Those complicated dishes are left to my mum... well, i bet she wouldn't want me to get involved too.. haha.. anyway, i was a little too ambitious.. i wanted to write Chinese characters on each muffin, like the one that's sold in Crystal Jade.. the result was disastrous!

I gave up after writing this ่ดข word.. i had my sis eat this muffin so that the rest could savour the cuter ones...
it was pretty much a tiring day.. the last lot of relatives left at almost 9pm.. and i went to bed at 9.30pm!!! zzzzzzzzz....
